1. How far is the flat from the Ski Station / Gondola?    

The Ski Station is about 300 metres (approx) from from the apartment. It takes about five minutes to walk into the centre of the resort, and an extra three or four minutes to walk to the ski station itself. Lockers are available in the ski station.

2. Can we hear 'bar noise' when in the Apartment?

No. The flat is located about a five-minute walk away from the main bar and club area, so no bar noise can be heard.

3. What's the accommodation like and where in Soldeu is it?

The apartment is located on the main road, along with many of the other hotels and apartments in Soldeu. For those familiar with the resort - then the apartment is directly opposite the Petit Reco cafe, and very near to a four star hotel, with its bars and restaurants. It’s approximately a 5 minutes walk from the centre of the resort. It’s easy to cover the short distance to the centre of the resort on foot - no need for buses etc. 

From the lounge there are views towards the valley below Soldeu. Both the Soldeu ski area and apartment is surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery. The apartment has a good lounge (with sofa, chair, dinning table, TV etc) and a separate kitchen. The kitchen has fridge, gas hob and oven, toaster etc, plates cutlery, cooking utensils etc.

4. Sleeping arrangements in the accommodation / Soldeu apartment..

1) The apartment has a double bed, two single beds, and a sofa bed in the lounge. Bed linen is provided. Towels (and slippers) need to be taken.

NB. When collecting your car - ask what free maps they have, and ask the staff to mark the main route/ junctions from the Airport to road for Andorra.

7. Getting to Soldeu

This apartment is best suited to the independent traveller. Nearest airports are Toulouse and Barcelona, with travel times being about 3h.30m from Barcelona and 2h.30m hrs from Toulouse.

Flights tend to become more expensive the closer you are to departure. Nearby airports include Toulouse, Perpignan and Carcassonne all in France, all within a three-hour drive. Also try Barcelona in Spain, which is about a 3h.30m hour drive to Soldeu.

9. Getting to the resort - from Barcelona or Toulouse.

Hiring a car makes life easy and offers complete independence (for example to shop at Andorra La Vella - tax free shopping till 7pm seven days a week, visit other resorts, and visit Caldea, Europe’s largest Spa.). Getting to the resort from main airports is pretty simple..but to make the journey as easy as possible we recommend that you print out your full-route from the airport to Andorra from the AA route finder, available at The AA....

10. How do we book the apartment?

This apartment is privately owned. Hence we keep the booking process simple. If you have any further questions then please email or telephone us (07982004143). Calls are welcome from 6.30pm - 10.30pm weekdays, or 11am - 10.30pm weekends. Check the dates you want on the availability calendar (via  the link on page 2) before proceeding (the colour red meaning the night is not available).

Step one. email - requesting a booking form (sent via email). At this initial stage include basic details of the size of your group, and arrival and departure dates, plus any other questions you may have. 

Step two. To proceed. Complete and return form with payment and deposit (via two cheques - deposit £150.00 plus rental payment). If you are booking months in advance you can post date final payment - but not for less than two months prior to departure). If you are booking less than two months in advance payment will be required immediately.
